McMurr Productions has two general
partners, Catherine Murray and
Shawn D. McDonald. Both partners
bring experience, talent and drive to
ensure success.
Catherine
Murray has a multifaceted background
to draw upon. Since 2000,
Catherine has dedicated herself to
running McMurr Productions and
establishing the business in the
Tullahoma Community. Before
moving to Tennessee, Catherine worked
for Daniel Man Johnson and Mendenhal
(DMJM). DMJM is a support
service’s contractor at NASA – Ames
Research Center - Moffett Field,
California. At Ames, Catherine was the
Configuration Management Group
Director. In the role she
supervised twelve individuals and was
responsible for the day-to-day
operations, duplication equipment
procurement and maintenance, and
development of Configuration
Management- related policy and
procedure for the NASA – Ames Research
Center engineering community.
Prior to her work at NASA, Catherine
served 4 years in the United States
Marine Corps, was a supervisor of 25
child care professionals, and was the
warehouse supervisor for a copier
sales company.
Shawn D.
McDonald has a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science
Degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara
University in California. For the last 12 years,
Shawn has worked for Jacobs Engineering. The
first 11 years was with Jacobs Sverdrup, a
subsidiary of Jacobs. Positions held included
design engineer, project manager, and group leader.
Shawn transferred to Tullahoma to lead the
corporate office initiative to standardize the
Accounting and Project Management Business
Information Systems across Jacobs Sverdrup.
In March of 2002 Shawn was recruited by the Jacobs
Senior Vice-President of Information Systems to
Manage the Development of Corporate Business
Information Systems for Jacobs worldwide. Shawn
has been involved on a part time basis in McMurr
Productions since the company’s inception and is
responsible for the technology and business side
of the company. In March of 2003 Shawn
resigned from Jacobs to devote 100% of her time in
the growth of McMurr Productions. |
